Who is responsible for your information

Raleigh Crawl Space Guide is operated by Johannes Otto, an individual. It is an independent informational and referral site. It does not perform crawl space work and is not a contractor. The operator runs raleighencapsulation.com and is responsible for information sent through this site.

What we collect

If you use one of our forms, we collect what you enter:

• Quote request form: first and last name, phone number, and optionally your email address, the service you're asking about and a comment.
• Contact form: name, and optionally phone number and ZIP code, plus your message.

With each form we also record the page you sent it from and any campaign tags (UTM tags) in the link that brought you to the site. Your IP address is processed by Cloudflare for security checks; the site doesn't store it.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and measure page performance. It does not use cookies. Cloudflare, our hosting provider, processes standard request data (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) to deliver and secure the site.

Bot check: our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a Cloudflare security check that helps tell people from automated spam. It runs when a form loads and may process technical information about your browser and device.

How we use it

We use the details you send to respond to your request, question, correction or feedback. If you ask about a crawl space job, we may pass your details to one local contractor who can help with the job, so that contractor can contact you about it. Contractors are independent businesses, not part of this site.

We don't sell your personal data, we don't add you to a marketing list, and we don't send you text messages.

Where it is kept

Nothing you send is stored on this website. Each form submission arrives as an email in the site operator's Gmail inbox. If your details are passed to a contractor, that one contractor also receives them.

Sharing

These service providers process form and site information on our behalf:

• Cloudflare: website hosting, the form function, the Turnstile bot check, Cloudflare Web Analytics and email delivery of form submissions.
• Google Gmail: the email inbox that receives form submissions.

We don't use any other service providers for the forms. Apart from passing a request to one local contractor as described above, we don't share your details with anyone else, and we don't sell personal data.

Calls and texts

We do not record phone calls, and we do not send text messages.

How long we keep it

We keep the details you send through our forms for up to 12 months, then delete them.

Your choices

To ask what information we have about you, or to correct or delete it, email [email protected]. We answer access and deletion requests within 30 days.

Governing law

Where relevant, this policy is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the current version.
